Ninja Turles visit Blythe Street

A big surprise last night when Larah, Troy and Jahrod decided to have a sleep over. They smelt like my favourite foooooooooods. I know they had lots of treats hidden in their back packs as my nose really amped up when they came into the lounge. Brad and Wendy also popped in and they smelt like grapes. Brad picked up a bag of some sort which really was big enough for me to hide in but I decided that Fiji wasn't on my bucket list.

Sue was on the look out for cubbyhouse trips from me since the Goldilocks invasion. I have kept a low profile as I heard Goldilocks had an alibi x 3. At this time of the day butter wouldn't melt in my mouth because Sue won't leave it out on the bench! Sue barricaded me in last night so I couldn't do a sneak around during the night and early this morning.....who would have thought that an ironing board had other uses. I did get to taste a wee bit of toast this morning....gee I miss Nan. The boys accompanied me to the park this morning and it was great fun. The Ninja Turtles run heaps faster than Sue so I had a good time showing them that I could out run them. To be polite I let Jahrod win a couple of times.

I met 2 lovely little fluffies today who had flowers in their fur up near their ears. They were pretty cute and they weren't the snappy type at all. Lulu and Indi had great manners and so did I. They were that short they couldn't do that whole sniff the butt thing which was great because I didn't have to do it either. The boys and Sue made a fuss of the slippers and yes the lady made a fuss of me and said how gentle I was so all in all a great visit to my Big Backyard.

THE GHOST WINEMARANER

I had to confiscate these couple of bottles from you know who!
Far too heavy to take to the cubbyhouse.

Just letting you know

My big backyard

This morning Paul and Sue checked the pool to see if the water needed emptying. All good... they did a quick run through following the instruction sheet that Mike left......Paul should stick to drafting as I don't think he would make a very good pool guy. I couldn't even bark at him but I am waiting until next Friday when the real pool guy comes....a barkers delight!

Off to my really big backyard for a run and some socialising not! A dog called "Sprite" wanted me to play....Nah ...... even though her handler was saying how beautiful I was, I wasn't falling for that old trick. "Hey Lady.....you can say all those lovely things but I am not playing with Sprite". I hope she didn't see my eyes roll.....what sort of name is Sprite..... she must have been down aisle 7 at the supermarket....coke, mountain dew, ginger beer and then came across SPRITE!  Gee I hope Josh and Claire didn't go shopping in Sydney!

Eagles V Dockers

Guess what? Grandma has been bragging about her new Dockers cushion. I have to admit the purple colour does suit her, however, I had to go one better...... the Eagles bag has far more uses than a cushion. Can Sue put the groceries in a cushion? Sue can always stuff the Eagles bag to make it a cushion but grandma's cushion cannot turn into a bag!
